It is being posted after nearly three years of silence due to renewed efforts by Cory Duval to solicit strangers for money on the internet.
While we make no claims about what Cory Duval may or may not do in the future, we feel it is both in his best interest and the public's best interest to enter into the public domain his forum correspondence with the lenders of Prosper.com. He came seeking a loan of $25,000, obtained a $1,250 loan, blew the dough on new clothes and shoes, and proceeded to default on it.
This history is pertinent because of his new efforts to raise money for a variety of flaky get-rich-quick schemes. He even had the gall to approach the same lenders he had cheated two years prior. His current efforts revolve around his website: http://www.thestoryofcory.com
We believe it is in the public's interest to have this material accessible by search engines, so that they can make a reasoned judgement as to the veracity of his claims about any product or website idea he is selling. We believe it is also in Cory's best interests not to continue down the road he is traveling. Our advice to Cory would be to get his GED and find a job in the real world.
Our advice to those who may encounter him on the web: do not give this individual any money.
